Welcome to the College of Social Sciences Public Policy Center

Richard Dubanoski We invite you to visit this webpage often during the coming months to learn of our developments and, hopefully, become more engaged in our various programs to enhance the quality of life in the community.

The Center represents the culmination, as well as continuous beginning, of our commitment to the quality of life in our State as well as the Nation and the Asia-Pacific region. The launching of the Center comes after many months of planning and discourse among our faculty, staff, and students and with many words of wisdom from the diverse sectors of our community. While the organization of the Center ends one phase of its development, another phase of building and growing is in process. We hope the documents and programs that we share on these webgpages will stimulate your interest to join our effort to enhance the quality of life in our community. There are opportunities to enroll in our public policy academic programs, to participate in our public policy research, or to partner with us as we engage our community in addressing pressing social issues and seeking shared solutions for positive change.
